Meggett County Park Trail Run

Come out and run the beautiful trails at Meggett County Park on July 20th at 8am! They have a 4.5 mile loop (red) or a 1.2 mile loop (green). There is a short 1/2 mile dirt road leading back to where the trails actually start so add a 1/2 mile onto both of those distances. The 4.5 mile loop takes you through the entire park and is my favorite! I'll plan on running that 1-2 times. You have the option to run the 4.5 mile loop or if you want a shorter distance you can tackle the 1.2 mile loop. As you can see by the map....the 4.5 mile loop (red) and the 1.2 mile loop (green) share mileage so you would still be with other runners regardless of which loop you pick.

There is no gate here and there is plenty of parking! They do have a box where you can pay the $1 admission fee if you don't have a gold pass.

There are no bathrooms or amenities on site. It's literally a parking lot and trail. There are some gas stations just a few minutes down the road so if you need a bathroom be sure to hit it on your way in.

Be sure to bring water, electrolytes, bug spray, and any fuel you may need for the run. There is nowhere to fill up water that I've found at the park.
